Okay, this is a rave review. Everything about CondoKandy and its operation was flawless. From the initial visit by Kevin to show me the possibilities and measure my balcony space to the finished product after a mere four-hour installation by Brett has me praising my CondoKandy floor to all my condo neighbours. The floor is not only gorgeous but easy to mop up when somebody spills wine. It sure beats that rough dirt-trapping concrete that was the original balcony floor. I tried covering it all with a colourful plastic "rug" but that kept lifting in the wind, making me constantly afraid that somebody might trip. I did consider IKEA type tile but I could see from my neighbours that they trap dirt, lift at the edges on windy days, fade or get really hot in the sun. My CondoKandy floor sits perfectly. As the condo president, I am VERY conscientious when it comes to following our rules -- and this floor does exactly that. It allows rainwater to drain easily and there are no nails or screws to wreck the waterproof membrane or building envelope. It cost me more than a Home Depot tile floor but it is worth it. I can't wait to show it off to my neighbours. Thank you!

Our proprietary floating tile system requires no glue, grout, or nails during the installation process, both helping to preserve the integrity of the building envelope and aligning with condo board rules. However, we always recommend you consult the by-laws in your condo building before installation just to be sure. Some boards include regulations around exterior visual conformity—so all the balconies look the same from the street—in which case Condo Kandy would be happy to provide the condo board with a free estimate to have all balconies or patios uniformly transformed.

Your Condo Kandy certified professional installer will lay a tarp to catch dust and waste. All cutting and customizing is done outside on the balcony. We clean everything up and remove all boxes for recycling. You’ll never know we were there. Except you have a beautiful floor! All you need to do is enjoy.

We believe that you deserve the opportunity to view your product options exactly where they’re going to be used. Showroom or store lighting is usually a different “temperature” than the lighting outdoors or in our homes, and this can result in unpleasant surprises once you see the product in your home for the first time. So, we come to you with our samples in tow.

It does. It looks better and feels better. Buyers will be more interested if you decide to sell. Condo Kandy balcony flooring helps differentiate your condo from the others on the market. It also protects your current surface, potentially reducing the need for future maintenance and repairs. Beware, though: a Condo Kandy balcony flooring treatment will make you reluctant to sell!
No problem. The deck tiles are easily removed and you can take them with you when you leave. Because they require no glue, grout or nails and are not in any way attached to the balcony surface, you will leave the space exactly as you found it and enjoy your flooring in your new condo.
It’s a beautiful thing. Because our balcony flooring tiles are interlocking, you can easily replace one tile at a time for any reason, if necessary. We always leave a few extras behind for such occasions
